2024 Online Art Exhibition - Upon Reflection

Upon Reflection is a collection that invites viewers to pause and consider the paths that have shaped their lives. Each piece explores the echoes of past decisions, the turning points that defined us, and the unseen forces that guided our steps.  This collection captures the weight of choices made, the lessons learned, and the ever-unfolding journey of self-discovery. It is an intimate exploration of how we arrived at this moment—and what it means to look back with understanding, curiosity, or wonder.

Breaking Cycles

Breaking Cycles explores the patterns we create over time—those ingrained habits and mindsets that shape our daily lives. The circles in this piece represent the habits we’ve formed, the routines that have become second nature. But then come the drips—disruptors that break through these cycles, creating space for change, growth, and new beginnings. It’s a visual reminder that transformation is possible, and sometimes, all it takes is one small shift to start something new.

Seeing Shapes - Pavements

The life choices that have been made over time and the path of life we find ourselves on.  I took several photos of pavements and I realised these weren’t just patterns; they looked like landscapes. Rugged mountain ranges emerged from the concrete; their peaks softened by years of footfalls and the British weather. Each pavement slab held a miniature world—an invitation to explore beyond the obvious.  As I sifted through my photographs. The Seeing Shapes collection was born—a testament to the overlooked, the underfoot.

I Wish I Hadn't Seen It, Heard It, Said It

A collaboration with Illustrator & Photographer Stuart Smith.

How a pair of pink fluffy earmuffs can set the wheels of creativity in motion!

Regret! We have all been there. This is what this collection is about, having to process the emotion, the words that were spoken, in haste and without any thought to the consequences; and words left unsaid, hanging in the air like unfulfilled promises.

Those pink earmuffs (a symbol of what we should or shouldn't have heard), dark sunglasses (to shield our eyes from the seen & unseen), and a zip (our mouth involves revealing and concealing).
