The other evening, while out driving, I saw one of the most breath-taking sunsets I’ve witnessed in a long time. The sun looked like a giant fireball, glowing in deep reds and oranges, surrounded by rich hues of dark yellow. As I drove through the countryside and into the hills, the sun began to dip lower, teasing me with just the tip of its "head" before disappearing completely. It was a moment of pure, natural beauty—one that reminded me how much inspiration is all around us if we just take the time to look.
But you don’t need to venture far to find inspiration. Just stepping into my back garden, I’m greeted by a riot of spring flowers—bursts of yellow, purple, cream, and blue dancing in the breeze. Nature has a way of feeding both the artist and the soul, offering endless colour palettes, textures, and compositions.
And if the great outdoors isn’t quite your thing, a cosy coffee shop can be just as inspiring. People-watching, the hum of quiet conversations, the swirl of steam from a fresh cup of coffee—it’s the perfect setting to let your mind wander and those creative sparks fly.
So, where do you find inspiration for your art? I’d love to hear—leave me a comment and share your creative sparks!
